5 reasons for Christ centered coaching
I believe the journey of life coaching is much more effective when we invite Jesus into the process.
It all comes down to this - we didn't make ourselves. We didn't choose our families, our socio-environments growing up, where we were born or what country we would live in. We didn't create our DNA, our genes, or the point of history we would be born in.
As Christian, I believe God created us, designed us, and intentionally planned us for a purpose. Because of this, it makes sense to invite him into the process of developing our life goals and dreams.
What we are responsible for
There are several key areas that we are responsible for in our lives. For example, we didn't choose where we would be born, but we can choose where we end up. We may not have chosen the experiences we had in our childhood, but we can choose how we respond to them now. We may not have chosen to be born with some of our mental or physical health issues, but we can control how we respond to them.
But here's my question - if God intentionally created me with a purpose - wouldn't I want to know why? That's what Christ-centered life coaching is. It's simply viewing the design of our lives through the context of being created by God for his purpose.
There are five specific reasons I believe Christ-centered coaching is the best route:
1. It's bigger than ourselves
